I don't know if it could keep the after shocks coming? I scanned the article quick so maybe it was in there. I guess anything is possible but it does sound kind of far out.

The figure above shows a visual representation of the style of faulting (focal mechanism) derived from the estimated moment tensor. Shadedareas show quadrants of thefocal spherein which theP-wave first-motions are away fromthesource, and unshaded areas showquadrants in which theP-wave first-motions are toward thesource. Thedots represent the axis of maximum compressional strain (in black, called the"P-axis") and theaxis of maximum extensionalstrain (in white, called the"T-axis") resulting from theearthquake.
Details on the W-phaseinversion algorithm.

All right. I have to fess up I guess. As y'all know Frank White has been in seclusion doing some "building". Truth is, I gave him permission to work on one of our nuclear devices in the underground facilities in the mountains of Va.. According to reports that have come in, Frank was having difficulties getting the fusing device into the main housing structure, threw a conniption, and the last recorded words heard from him were, give me that big f@*#in hammer and I'll drive the sum bitch in. Following that there were heard the sounds of a huge explosion, and nothing else from Frank since. As he was one of my dearest friends I shall miss him greatly.
